The peanut link disperses pressure across the tongue and doesn't interfere with the palate. This bit is stainless steel with EquiKind+ coating; this combination offers a thinner mouthpiece than rubber bits, making them more comfortable for horses with smaller mouths or larger tongues which may not have a lot of room within the mouth.
